Balkanstrek adventures are suitable for moderately fit people who are, therefore, physically active throughout the year. It is recommended for children over the age of 7.

The Balkanstrek adventures require minimal physical preparation: those who decide to participate in the multi-day experiences must be trained enough to tackle treks of medium difficulty.

Balkanstrek trips are all inclusive. Activities not included will be specified in the itinerary from time to time.

For a clear trip to the Balkans, it is advisable to dress in layers: you reach altitudes of over 1,000 metres and the weather in the mountains is variable.

For the safety of your four-legged friend, it is always best to send an e-mail before booking, specifying the type of tour you would like to take. Depending on the type of experience, we will indicate whether it is appropriate to bring an animal.

Balkanstrek's 4x4s are modern, so they are quite comfortable. No special preparation is needed for a trip on our 4×4s.

Albania has the same temperature and climate as Italy. The Balkans is a mountainous area and therefore has a variable and cool climate even in summer.

Some activities such as travelling by 4×4 are necessary and indispensable to reach the locations of our itineraries, others are at your discretion. For example, it is possible to sleep in guest houses if the idea of spending a night in a tent does not appeal to you, just as it is possible to wait outside the caves if your itinerary includes a caving experience that you decide not to do.
